Jodi’s breathwork class has not only been beneficial to me but also incredibly transformative for the demographic that i work with. I work with special needs individuals giving them direct support for independent living skills. In moments of dis-regulation where they may feel anxiety and panic, i started implementing the mindfulness practice of breathing. Learning and implementing the techniques i have learned from Jodi have been beneficial for calming the breath and soothing the nervous system. One of the individuals is now able to self soothe using these breathing exercises! The ability to self regulate has been such a powerful tool in their steps to independence and mental health. I started with Jodi in a group class to work on my post pregnancy body. After sharing my C-section story and me not being able to feel from my belly button down, she shared some simple exercises I could do at home in between classes. Within a couple months, I started to feel my lower abdominal muscles and started feel stronger in my abs. I am now only doing private sessions with her to really gain my muscle strength and continue to tone not just my abs but the rest of my body. I am so happy with the transformation of my body from where I was four months ago. She knows her stuff and am so happy I found her! - Anna
